Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges

As with any field, naturopathic medicine has established regulatory bodies to help the public assess the level of education of its members. We highly recommend that you choose a naturopathic practitioner that has graduated from a school that is a member of the Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges. Graduates of programs that are not members of the Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges have not met standardized educational criteria, and are not eligible for licensure in any state.

Be advised that graduation from an accredited school does not constitute a guarantee that a doctor or physician is competent, or operates with integrity. Every field has its questionable practitioners, and naturopathic medicine is no exception.
